What you’ll need

Cob Loaf- Choose a classic, round cob loaf or substitute it with other shapes and varieties. The loaf’s shape or size only matters if it can hold the filling. You can use mini round loaves to make individual cob loaf dips.

Cheeses This recipe is perfect for cheese lovers. We used grated cheeses (mozzarella parmesan and brie) along with the optional half-wheel of brie. Substitute with your favorite cheese.

Sour cream increases the creaminess and helps the dip go further. Substitute with regular cream or light sour cream.

Cream cheese Regular or light cream butter will work. You can substitute with French or Spring onion dip and leave out the soup mix flavoring.

Bacon- The best taste comes from locally produced middle bacon. Try smoked bacon or a sub with chorizo, fritz, or ham.

White Onions are delicious with bacon. Substitute with spring onion or red onion.

French Onion Soup mix This will boost the overall flavor of the dip. If you want to add a specific flavor, be creative and add one tablespoon of your favorite soup stock.
