What exactly is white Christmas?
White Christmas is the most popular in Australia, a simple, no-bake cut made from Rice Bubbles or Rice Krispies with coconut, dried fruit, and coconut. Traditional versions use copha to hold the ingredients together; however, I understand it is made with white chocolate.
How do you create a white Christmas?
Make White Christmas is as easy as three steps!
Put rice cereal, coconut, pistachios, coconut raisins, and sultanas in a large bowl.
In the microwave, melt white chocolate until it is melted and smooth.
Mix until all ingredients are fully coated in chocolate. Place the mixture into a baking dish and then place it in the refrigerator to ensure it is set.
Which chocolate should I choose?
Choose a high-quality white chocolate that you’d like to eat by itself. Don’t buy cheap chocolate. I prefer white chocolate in the form of a block. However, you can also use chocolate chips or melts if you want.
Can I change an ingredient?
I suggest that you keep the quantities the same way. However, you can alter the fix-ins you prefer. You can use an alternative nut or remove the pistachios if there is a nut allergy.
Including chocolate chips as an alternative or even doubling the amount of cranberries is possible. Make sure to limit the fix-ins to around 2 cups in total.
I believe this recipe is excellent for what it is, so try it!
